Block Posters

A while back, I needed to create a faux movie poster for school. Being that my art and poster making skills are on par with the skill level of a five year old, I opted to design the poster on my computer. The problem with this is that the project required a poster-sized poster. This is where Block Posters came in. It allows you to print any image onto multiple sheets of paper so that you can tape them together to form a large poster. There are several sites created for this purpose, but this is the best one that I found. It's pretty easy to follow the directions and make a poster. The biggest issue I had with the site was in taping all the pieces in the right place, but that's most likely a result of my lack of artistic talent. If you need to print out a large image, be sure to give Block Posters a try.

Laughing Exercises

It seems to me that exercise just gets stranger and stranger. Not the idea of exercise, but the different forms of "exercise" that are created. Just start watching television after midnight, and you'll probably be bombarded with infomercials toting different exercise products like strange look machines and vibrating barbells. Well, even if you've been cursed with insomnia and spend your nights channel surfing, you've probably never seen a form of exercise as strange as this. Honestly, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if these were revealed as mental patients who've escaped and managed to raise enough funds to tote a line of exercise videos. It's called "Laugh Away Your Abs," and well, I'll let you watch for yourself.

Pwong

I'll be honest, pong bores me. I like to browse around the internet, and it seems that I've come across a million different versions of it. However, every version I come across is just too freaking boring. Seriously. Well, that is until I found pwong. While this doesn't exactly hold that much replay value for me, for 3 or 4 minutes I was genuinely entertained. I don't know if it was the colors or this music, but this is pong like I've never seen it.

Awkward Family Photos

Ok, admit it. You've probably taken some awkward family photos in your lifetime. It's the holidays, and some genius buys everyone matching shirts for a family portrait. Maybe it's just a spur of the moment decision, and you all just arrange yourselves into a cheesy pose. Before you know it, you've been immortalized in what is known as an awkward family photo.
Whether you've ever found yourself in the above situation or not, I'm sure you can appreciate the Awkward Family Photos site. It's composed of some of the most awkward, strange, and honestly, perplexing pictures I've ever seen. It's easy to lose track of time while laughing at these shots.

Morph Thing

I'm totally loving the Morph Thing site. It allows you to blend your face with various actors and actresses. In this day and age, photo manipulation is pretty rampant. Even so, this site does a fairly good job with very little work involved. These aren't perfect looking, and to be honest, they can be creepy. That's all part of it's charm. These are fun to post on facebook and have a laugh at. If you don't have a picture or just don't feel comfortable using a personal picture, you can also blend various actors and actresses together.

Nickname Finder

Do you have a friend who calls you by an annoying name and want some payback? Maybe you just want some nicknames for yourself. If you like nicknames, this is the site for you. I found this site a while ago, but I just recently rediscovered it. If you search a name and look under "drawbacks," it lists funny nicknames. You may not find one you'd actually use on here, but it's definitely worth a click.
